Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Jazmine, who is Philadelphia native, was born and raised in the city. Pam, Jazmine's mother, has been a back-up singer in the band Philadelphia International Records. Her father gave her a job as the curator at the Historic Strawberry Mansion. She together with her family later made the move to the historic place of historical significance. As a 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts student who is majoring in the area of vocal. Sullivan began her singing career as a contralto choir for children, and then a few years later in the adult choir. His exposure to secular music was at first sporadic "I did solos at churches and a person wanted me to join the gospel label at age was eleven but I wasn't prepared to sign that contract," she recalls. After that, McDonald's held a contest that was open to children living in cities. I was able to sing "Accept The Grace God Gives" during It's Showtime At the Apollo. And the crowd responded very well. The singer performed along with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday in the year thirteen. Sullivan was the first to sign her contract to Jive Records when she was 15. In Jive Records, she made an entire album. But the album was never released. Sullivan was eventually dropped from the record label. There was a close relationship with Missy Elliott who wrote and recorded some of the songs for her debut project, which included the hit single "Backstabbers" that was written and produced by Timbaland and written by Elliott.
